Outspoken Oncology

The Outspoken Oncology podcast is dedicated to facilitating candid discussion among all stakeholders on the most pressing—and often controversial—topics in cancer care today. The podcast was awarded Gold recognition in the MarCom Awards 2019 Competition for outstanding achievement of marketing and communication professionals.

NabhanHosting the podcast is hematologist and medical oncologist Chadi Nabhan, MD, MBA, FACP. Dr. Nabhan has more than 18 years of clinical practice experience and is interested in all aspects of health care delivery, treatment, leadership, mentorship, and policy. Dr. Nabhan was named Top Doctor for Medical Oncology by Chicago magazine in 2016 and was selected as one of the Top Cancer Doctors in the US by Newsweek Health in 2015.

Outspoken Oncology—released weekly on Tuesdays—aims to approach oncology from the angle of all cancer care stakeholders to bring together views from all parties. Each episode features a carefully selected guest with particular expertise in the subject of discussion. Guests are challenged to think outside the box and to come up with ideas that contradict their own. Counter views are unapologetically examined and dissected.

Follow or chat with Dr. Nabhan on Twitter @chadinabhan with reactions to episodes, questions, or recommended topics for future episodes. You can also email outspokenoncology@journalofclinicalpathways.com to request specific topics and guests.

Let’s break down the barriers to communication in health care together.
